In conjunction with colleagues from K&L Gates, the Public Defender's Office, and Robinson Bradshaw, Hands Law hosted the 2018 NCCU Law Charlotte Alumni Reception at K&L Gates' Charlotte office. The Dean of NCCU Law, along with the NCCU Law Office of Development, traveled from Durham, NC for the occasion.

The reception served as a reunion for some and a great networking opportunity for others, as NCCU Law alumni were able to escape the demands of the legal profession for an evening of candor regarding how they could work together. The alumni in attendance were diverse in their fields, ranging from solo practitioners, judges, in-house counsel, associates at large firms, etc. The Hands Law team looks forward to hosting similar events in the future.
