David W. HandS

David Hands is the founder and managing attorney of Hands Law. After graduating from Fayetteville State University, David earned his juris doctor with high honors, magna cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law (“NCCU”). While at NCCU, David was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar, NCCU Foundation Scholar, Contracts Teaching Assistant, and Senior Editor of the prestigious NCCU Law Review. 


Charles W. Hands III

Charles Hands is a North Carolina licensed attorney at Hands Law whose family estate planning practice focuses on helping families enhance their lives today and secure their futures tomorrow. He excels in guiding his clients through the often confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create plans that ensure the well being of their families and the accomplishment of cherished family goals.



David Sherman is a North Carolina licensed attorney at Hands Law. Originally from Walnut Cove, North Carolina, David graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and a minor in Rhetoric from Hampden-Sydney College, in Hampden-Sydney, Virginia.  After his undergraduate studies, David took a year off before attending Charlotte School of Law where he earned his juris doctor in 2013.
